Since graduation requirements change from time to time, even if minor,
it's always best to verify the graduation requirements with the county you reside. Make sure you pay attention to
the graduating year the requirements refer to. Often, county school boards have websites that list the information.

**************************************************************************************************************************** NOTE: The IOWA Standardized Test and the personal evaluation both meet your year end home school law requirements.
Computerized results will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks after testing is completed.
Florida law requires that the parent or guardian of a home-educated child file an annual evaluation with the district school superintendent's
office. The annual evaluation is due one year after submission of your letter of intent. It is
recommended that you send it certified mail, return-receipt requested. As the parent/guardian
you have options in the child's method of evaluation. We offer two of those options and
a Florida
State Certified Teacher administers and/or evaluates each. 1. Individual or Personal Evaluation or 2. Nationally Normed Student Achievement Tests As with
any standardized testing instrument, the scores provide "a snapshot" of each child's achievements.
They are to be considered in conjunction with teacher observations, portfolio reviews, daily interactions,
learning styles and the general knowledge you have about your child in order to gain a complete understanding
of the child's academic growth and areas needing remediation. Always keep test scores in their proper perspective.
They are a valuable piece of the puzzle, but not the complete picture.
